The open spaces of the East Bay are some of the best places for photography. They are readily available to all of us and we are surrounded by them. I love the golden color of the tall grass, the mature oak trees and the sunlight that filters through and casts the most beautiful light imaginable. If you don’t know where to photograph the next step of your family, you don’t have to look far. A regional open space may be a good choice for you and your family.

In this post, I’m going to show you one of my favorite couples. For the past five years, I have been capturing beautiful and important moments from them and over time we have become good friends. Their little girl is spunky, full of energy and such a joy to photograph.
