During those evenings, you may notice that your child is becoming more and more difficult. We’ve been there, and we know how difficult it can be! Especially when the past day seems fine and suddenly, suddenly, the screaming starts (and it can feel like it doesn’t stop). As your anxiety grows, you start trying everything you know, from giving food or drops of oil to rocking your baby, but nothing seems to work!
Really? Sometimes, they just need to release that pent-up energy…and it can be AWESOME! Read on for our tips on how to calm a crying baby and get through the magical time.
How to stop a baby from crying during witchcraft:
Note: The instructions below are for babies three months old and younger
- Take a good shower
- Turn off the lights
- Babies can be easily distracted, turning on the lights to help remove the stimulation.
- White Noise
- Babies learn by association and by routine, and we use the techniques they know to send consistent messages. Sound can be one way to communicate this!
- Imagine going from the noise of the subway to everyone around you, literally. It is silly to think that we are trying to make the house quiet so that the child can sleep. What they really need is a clear understanding of the sounds of the womb (and the noise of the house in the background).
- We love the LectroFan Classic Sound System!

- Gentle Swing or Mom on the Call Baby Ferris Wheel
- Head outside
- You will be amazed at how much this helps you and your baby!
- A brisk walk or just getting outside and drinking some Vitamin D can be a great boost!
- Bicycle legs
- The baby may have air trapped in his stomach, move the legs! The child should lie on his back and move his legs slowly while riding the bike.
- Emphasize the baby’s belly
- Giving your baby a tummy rub can also help get the trapped air moving!
- Try it “The Hold” By Dr. Robert Hamilton
- They should fold their hands over each other’s chest.
- Support their arms/chest and jaw securely and face outwards.
- Hold the part of the diaper between the legs and hold at an angle of 45 °.
- Hold gently, shake up and down, and rotate their buttocks a little.
