Some parts of the newborn are calm and peaceful, while others feel energetic and emotional all at once, and this was exactly that. From the second you arrived, there was an overwhelming feeling of gratitude attached to every little moment. Gratitude that you can feel without anyone saying anything. Seeing your family with little Elle was so beautiful because you could tell she fit right into your world, just like she had.
Elle, you are already surrounded by so much love. The way everyone looked at you throughout the episode felt intentional and loving. Little fingers wrapped in the hands of mom and dad, little sleep, little yawns in warm blankets… every moment I feel the need to slow down. There is something very sacred about birthdays. The world is quiet for a moment as everyone learns from each other, falls into new rhythms, and gets into little things they don’t want to forget.
And William & Harrison… you lit up this whole episode.
Watching you become big brothers is so exciting. There was such joy in talking about Elle and being around her. One minute you were full of energy and making everyone laugh, and the next minute you were gently leaning in to hold your baby sister very carefully. These are the moments that I know your family will treasure one day. You can already tell that Elle will grow up with the best friends around her.
One of the things I love most about your family is how naturally connected you are. The laughs came easily, the hugs never felt forced, and there was a sense of joy that filled your house throughout the session. It was less about recording the times and more about keeping track of who you are in this season of life. These are my favorite episodes of all time because the love speaks for itself.
Bringing home a new baby always changes a family in the most beautiful way. Everything feels a little crowded. A little soft. Meaning less in a way. And seeing your family settle down with Elle was a great privilege to witness.
I already know there are many good times ahead for you all. Lots of bedtime stories, siblings laughing around the house, little hands reaching for yours, and lots of adventures waiting to happen. Thank you for letting me capture these first memories together as a family with Elle in your arms.
