Vivian was 22 weeks pregnant when she told me about the newborn session. At first, they asked to shoot mothers and babies; however, right now I’m presenting a newborn and childlike image. It always makes me happy to see how my clients find me, and Vivian follows DC wedding photographer, Dotun Ayodeji and the beautiful cake mistress Dirwura, who I photographed as a newborn last year, and she loved my work!
We worked on colors, styles, and looks over the next few months, and Vivian shot her beautiful motherhood photos in Dubai. Finally, I got the email we’ve been waiting for: Duke got in very well! We finalized the details of the episode, and I was happy that Vivian’s mother, Iffy, was able to come.
They don’t make grandmas like they used to, do they?! When I posted a photo of the 3rd generation Grandma and Mom holding the baby, several people said they didn’t know who the mom was and who the grandma was!
Sweet baby Duke did my favorite part of his newborn phase: He slept most of the time, but also gave us sweet words and eye contact. We have a beautiful site with many funny and powerful quotes from this little prince. Enjoy the pictures of this cutie!
