When I first found out I was pregnant, the first thing that went through my mind was – Wow… So much so that I started laughing & when I told Brent what he did first he laughed too!
We both knew we wanted a third child and they came at the perfect time – we didn’t decide to “start trying” because we wanted to be comfortable & we didn’t want the added stress of every month & injury or heartbreak if it didn’t happen.
Early in my pregnancy I suffered from severe morning sickness & during the third trimester I had severe pelvic pain, but other than that it was perfect! I loved every second of him and will miss those little kicks & the feel of him in my belly.
Being pregnant with Covid-19 was a very strange time as I had to homeschool again. There were two sides to my feelings. I was often very tired and I really learned the importance of teachers and schools. I realized that I had lost my “alone” time to prepare for our little one, and have days where I could read a good book or take a nap. Having said that, my husband was incredibly supportive and allowed me to have time when I really needed it, just to go and hang out. Another part I found was that since I wasn’t rushing through the day-to-day, there was less anticipation which meant we could relax a bit.
