Guys, what’s the best time to spend with twins and their “big” sister? Even though I’ve been photographing babies in the San Francisco Bay Area for ten years, it’s not often that I photograph newborn twins especially not twins with a three-year-old older brother. Actually, I’m pretty sure this was my first such combination. I loved every minute of this part of life including shooting and editing. Finally now I can choose my favorite photos to display. Choosing a favorite was not easy at all because the site turned out to be huge, with 150 different paintings, and you can imagine how narrowing it down is a little difficult.
About the New Birth Division
I was excited, to say the least, when I first walked into this family’s beautiful home in the Orinda Mountains. It’s always the unexpected that gets my creative juices flowing so I usually get a touch of uncertainty but this day was a little stressful for me as a natural artist. It was dark and gloomy and it rained all day without breaking a sweat. As I drove up the winding road to the house I hoped that there would be enough light and I wouldn’t have to stop that part. When I entered, I saw a beautiful place with large windows and I breathed a sigh of relief. I immediately knew it could be done, removing any doubts I had.
My favorite part of the whole time was their twin sister who was so kind and loving. He was kissing and hugging his new sister and brother.
This session is a perfect example of why I love newborn photography. The precious memories of the first times this sweet family became a party of five are captured by me and these photos will last forever. Have fun!
