Double Fun | Rogue and Nakoa

When I found out that I was selected to portray Rogue and Nakoa I was very happy; It’s not every day I work with twins. Although twins often come with some challenges, what they say…two challenges, I enjoy it. It reminds me so much of when I first started out as a baby photographer and the learning and growth that came along with photographing newborns. Over the years, I’ve developed a habit and sometimes drawing singletons feels like a breeze at first so I love the challenges that come with twins. Luckily for me, Rogue and Nakoa were so amazing and fun throughout their session that we finally got all the photos I wanted to capture. I hope moms enjoy these photos as much as I enjoyed taking them.

Big Brother | Little Sister

When the twins came, I only saw two children of the same size, like two peas in a jar. I certainly didn’t expect a big difference of two pounds. As much as people think that twins come out the same size they often don’t. This is usually caused by a lack of oxygen from the mother to the baby through the placenta which can cause the baby to grow. In this case, Nakoa aka Big Brother was the twin who received a high-speed breath that allowed Rogue aka Little Sister to lead her name as the sweet little sister. I’m excited to see these two grow and see if there will be a need for growth.
