Sweet Teddy, I’ve been waiting for you! I was there the day you were born, so I packed everything and left for Erie, Pennsylvania to spoil you for your newborn session. It was worth any distance and felt like a beautiful moment all around. Your family is my family. They are my dear friends, and I thank God every day that photography brought us together.
For four years now, I’ve been dreaming about your childhood Penny (like her Under the Sea Mermaid Dream Session this summer!), one magical moment at a time. And now I’m going to do it all over again for the little boy! How exciting is that? I can already imagine all the future for you, young one.
Penny, you were born to be a big sister. The way you hugged your baby brother with that big smile made my heart melt. You were calm and proud, and it was clear that Teddy already had the biggest sister in the world waiting for him.
And Theodore, you were an absolute dream. Those pale cheeks, that soft black hair, those tiny little legs and that sweet sleepy smile. And of course, we had to get you into a cute nest with a little teddy bear bonnet, because what else would Teddy wear?
Mom and Dad, thank you so much for trusting me with these precious first days and your family stories year after year. I love you all so much, and I can’t wait to watch Penny and Teddy grow up together.
